Ladybuglawn is small but growing in Folsom & El Dorado Hills and is looking for a hard working individual who is very reliable, professional and knows how to communicate well. Ladybug is not a mow & blow, we provide customer focused residential lawn & landscape garden care and irrigation repair. Interest & experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture & irrigation preferred. Must have good driving record; and pass drug test and background check.
Good upside potential for the right person, can lead to Crew Leader position quickly.
Full Time (32-40 hours weekly). Hourly pay dependent on ability with opportunity for bonuses and paid vacation as you grow with Ladybuglawn.
Job Location: Work would start and end at yard near Hwy. 50 and El Dorado Hills Blvd/Latrobe Rd.
Duties: This is a front line position where you must be willing to perform every aspect of yard care on a daily basis and lead by example. Duties would include, but not be limited to: physically performing all aspects of lawn and landscape maintenance such as edging, weeding, mowing, trimming, minor digging, irrigation adjustments, irrigation repairs, sweeping, blowing, cleaning using both hand tools and power equipment including heavy commercial mowers. Moving and hauling bark, plant debris and other items. Work is outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat. Occasional use of fertilizers and other plant treatments. Have or develop basic plant knowledge and identification skills. Safely drive and frequently get into and out of Ladybuglawn trucks, including up and down steps and ramps.
Comfortable using email, gps & laptop computer equipment. Documenting work performed at each client's house and learning to look for and plan what needs to done on the next visit. Interact with clients often and in a positive manner; educate and advise clients; maintain a high customer satisfaction rate. Work alone and independently at times, problem solve and is willing to work in a calm and positive manner. Perform sales and marketing tasks from time to time.
Overall: Pro-active attention to detail (can you see the weeds before our customer does); a consistent systematic approach to work; the ability to look for and address problems or mistakes while they are small and easily corrected; while keeping on task and on schedule.
